From Google Drive to iMovie

HOW TO DOWNLOAD MOVIE FROM GOOGLE DRIVE ONTO YOUR HOME COMPUTER

Find the movie in your drive

DOWNLOAD ANYWAY

Select the DESKTOP so it’s easy to locate and SAVE

When done downloading, open iMovie

File- NEW MOVIE

Name your movie-OK

NO THEME (unless you want one)

Drag and drop movie clip from desktop into movie

Use EDITING tools to EDIT

When you get stuck, need help, GOOGLE or YOUTUBE it!!!!!!! There are a million videos on this.

You are using iMovie 10


WHEN MOVIE IS FINISHED, you need to EXPORT it

STEP #1   iMOVIE

When you are ready to export

Click SHARE

Select FILE (for BIG SIZE)

Select iTunes for small.
iTunes is quicker, faster, and you can upload this size to your phone

Before you hit NEXT select SD 480P (854 x 480)

(If it asks)


Then hit NEXT

Save it to DESKTOP- SAVE


It will look like this on your desktop:

When its done, it will have a photo and look like this:


Once it is exported, you will need to UPLOAD TO GOOGLE DRIVE so you can download at school

STEP #2

UPLOAD INTO GOOGLE DRIVE

Go to GMAIL

Click on DRIVE

UPLOAD (arrow next to create) FILES

Select the exported movie file on your desktop

Once its done uploading click SHARE
Get shareable Link
